It is through the process of healing that we believe the hurting will find a Purpose for their pain. Finally, we have the ultimate intention of helping each person find hope, not only in their present circumstances but most importantly, in their Eternal future."

Currently, H.O.P.E. Ministries fulfills that mission by donating copies of the book, I Have Better Plans for You, to people who need them. The book itself, is a resource that helps walk people through the healing process as taught through lessons from the bible, guidance from the Holy Spirit, as well as personal experiences the author shares within the study guide.

So far hundreds of copies have been donated to prisoners, men, women, and teens. We have seen it help people dealing with addiction, anger, childhood trauma, adult trauma, and so much more! In addition, the author Crystal D. Deeds, has personally led countless small groups, guiding individuals through the steps in the book and helping them go deeper in their journey toward healing, and our hope is that other small groups will be started all over the world. (contact us if you would like to start your own small group) This is all made possible through individual donations, proceeds from book purchases, and merchandise sales such as t-shirts, mugs, and more.

In addition to what the ministry is currently doing, our vision for the future is to develop a ministry that provides financial assistance to under resourced teens who, under normal conditions, would have little to no access to professional counseling. We understand how important counseling is to the hurting individual, and our mission is to help hurting people find healing. "My future hope for H.O.P.E. Ministries, once it has been established as a non profit and has steady funding, will be to provide financial assistance for under resourced teens who need counseling. We will connect the individual with a Professional Christian Counselor who will be able to further help them find hope and healing. I feel so strongly about this need because when I was struggling during the hardest and darkest days of my life, the teenaged years, I had no one to guide or mentor me.  I felt very lost and alone. If it would not have been for God reaching out to me, I would have been lost forever. Although, I am ever so humbled and grateful for God’s intervention in my life, I know that the healing process may have been a lot faster had I been connected to the right people who could have held me accountable and taught me the steps necessary for breaking free from the bondage’s of my pain. It is because of this first hand account of the impact pain can have in a person’s life that I feel such a passion to help others find the help they need before it’s too late. The teenaged years are difficult and challenging, and teaching the coping skills at this time in a person’s life is extremely important in order to equip them to be healthy adults and parents themselves, spiritually, physically, and emotionally.

My prayer is that God will use this ministry to help those who need it, and that He will always be the one in charge of everything we do! It is not for us, it’s all for Him!"
